The guy who scammed me has gotten away with it. And ebay is doing jack all to help. I want to phone them and see something happen..ive got £25 back, hes still an ebay member and is still able to continue doing what he does. My concerns for safety have not been listened to and I'm not happy because there is no way to contact ebay about it afte r45 days have passed.

Anyone know how to contact ebay?

On most any ebay page you will find the words "Contact Us" as a link. If you keep asking questions the bots can't answer you'll eventually be given a phone number to call and a pass code to enter. That should connect you to customer service. You can then spill on them what happened. They may or may not be able to help you if time limits have expired. You may also have recourse with your credit card company if your payment was funded through a credit card payment. As always with these matters time is your enemy. Good luck.

I always make sure to read the reviews of the seller and look at their feedback. not a for sure solution but it does help a bit.

It really is annoying having to waste 10 minutes just to get the phone number

With ebay YOU have to follow ebay's rules when there is a problem. You cannot work outside the system ebay has set up to protect you. All of the avenues for problem resolution are available. Whether you to chose to use them or not is your choice.

It's always a good idea to read and understand user agreements and what your obligations are as a Buyer or Seller.

If you fail to follow the rules you'll find yourself venting on websites like this.

Thats precisely the problem - I followed the rules, I did what I could, but the system was like a thick treacle and just stopped everything in its tracks at every turn. I'm not happy with how they handled it and there is no way for me to contact them. They didnt do as their safety guidelines say, and I'm not at all happy. But they have thick castle walls and nothing is getting in.

If you feel you have done everything to rectify the situation with the Seller and ebay then you have two options left. You can leave negative feedback for the Seller and file a complaint against ebay with the Better Business Bureau. You can file the BBB complaint online with the San Jose CA at their website. ebay responds to every BBB complaint that is filed against them. Good luck.

BBB wouldnt do anything especially since Ben lives in the UK.

Ben what was it that they didnt follow through with? If you got a full refund for it theyre likely going to consider it case closed and wont ban a seller for one transaction especially when they probably had a decent cover story prepared.

The guy said he'd come round and visit. Theres not a safety guideline in heck which would allow that. Plus, the guy is clearly breaking the rules and has been a long time - its almost exclusively his entire business.

And I didnt get a full refund because you have to open cases for every single seperate item and go through the process like that. And the guy was getting angry with the second one I opened - I tried to ask ebay if its possible to open a case on multiple items, but there was no response and I couldnt find a way to open the case.

Why did you wait more than 45 days to open a case?
And eBays customer service number is all over google.
