punman Pillar of the Community Canada 849 Posts	Posted 11/03/2013 10:34 am Well, with two hours remaining as I awoke this morning, the bid was at $45. Were it not for the pitting I'd have bid a bit more but I think I will pass. This is a coin that, although not really rare, does not become available too often so often goes for catalogue value or higher. Someone else is selling one today and with 12 hours to go, the bid is at $100 (better condition). Most of my small pennies from '37 on were collected from change so I don't want to go that high end.
