i recently picked up a few hundred mint rolls from 1979 and have opened a couple rolls and pulled out some double dates like this one. what grade would you say this is? thanks

My opinion is 64 red .... No higher due to the field marks on the obverse and the spotting on the reverse.. (I see some doubling in the 9's of the date too!)

Yup, I'd go with MS 64. The scratches are not deep enough for 63 but there are too many of them for 65.
