I've been so focused on yanking out the 1959-D Mint mark variety #039's that I haven't posted any pics of the 1959-D Mint Mark Variety #05.

I have about 25 of these.
Here you go !

Plans are long term. I have a few websites I will populate the coins I own, both variety and normal ones. We will be attending some shows up and down the east coast in 2014, so some will be sold that way as well. Now that the first pass through the bag is done, it gives me some down time to look for another bag (196x-D)that has some decent RPM's at a decent price point, and of course, its never "expected to find" a lot of these RPM's in a bag. This bag produced ALOT of RPM's - probably too much for most. As always, its a welcomed addition and these will add to the inventory.

I'll provide more info in my signature once all of the chaos of moving from a memorabilia business to a precious metals and coin business has settled.

I haven't started collecting M/M's yet. This is a M/M/M correct? Either way it is a nice one!

Collector-Corner,
Are you planning on selling or auctioning any here on CCF at a special price for the CCF members?

For this D/D/D no. I have only 25 or so, and I want these to last. These will help pay for the bag. I will think about the 1959-D RPM #039's though. I am focusing more towards getting through the 2nd pass of the bag , and then getting the new website up. If the shopping cart still has the ability to offer "coupon codes", I could set up a code which would allow a significant drop in the price. No matter how it sounds, the idea is to make a profit on these coins so I can obtain more merchandise and grow even more. I won't be giving anything away for free per se.

We'll see about any promotions and auctions here. Its all about time and effort, and currently we're focused on other projects.

Hi there I found a 1959 d the other day mabi you can take a look? Don't know if it's PMD or error but the second 9 most of it is missing in liberty the top of the B is crushed or missing? In word TRUST most of the letters are not even there or appear shrunken and lookn with a 10x I don't see any evidence of filing or tampering whatsoever but I am a novice so an expert eye would be appreciated thanks!

Its best to start a new post with pictures. The 1959-D was full of varieties so anything is possible. From what your describing, its sounds like the 1959-D may have had some Post Mint Damage - PMD - after it left the mint, or there was a slight malfunction during the hammering of the coin and it made it past any sort of QA - if there was such a thing in the mints back in'59. Start a thread and I will take a look. = )
