VF20 obverse, VG reverse. Net to F.

1922's can be a pain in the neck to grade especially when both the obverse and reverse are weak. I am going more on the obverse than the reverse as it lacking detail from being struck from a worn die. My guess is VF-30 and I wouldn't be surprised if there is a wider range of guesses.

F12 but I think the reverse will keep it back to a VG10.

At least VF. The reverse is strong enough to hold the VF grade. A better photo might reveal a wheat line or 2.

I don't think it makes XF but it's close. Either a VF30 or 35. The low grades above are likely unfamiliar with 1922-D Lincolns.

I will go with VF25. Weak Reverse always makes these a pain to fully gage. But over all Solid coin!

Thanks for your opinions. My own grade for it is VF30. A lot of the 20's branch cents are weakly struck. The reverse for the 22-D is known to have some weakly struck examples so I think this one has to be graded primarily using the obverse.

I agree with your grade of 30. This is a weak strike it needs to be graded using the obverse

That is a tough one...Weak reverse needs to be factored in, but it is still far gone enough to be considered wear. F-12 is my verdict, but it could go anywhere from VG to VF depending on the person.
