I'm not sure if this video has been posted here, and if not, now it is.

Very cool! Wish we saw this operation at the Philadelphia mint.
Are those $1,000.00 stacks?

They are $10,000 bundles, those bundles are bundled in 10s, so the big bundles are 100k, then those were in bundles of 8. So at the end those big long bundles were almost 1mil a piece. Every time that machine pushed a big bundle, $0.8 million... wow 0_0

Oh, but the bundles of 0.8mil are 2 high, and 2 of those next to each other.

I give up. It's hard to keep count with it all moving so fast.

Basically it's a lot, and watching this video makes you think:

Here is where it comes from. This synthetic paper that people spend their days toiling for. The paper that people fight for, KILL for.

Each one of those notes holds the power to feed 454 meals to starving children ($0.22 per meal http://www.fmsc.org/aboutus/FAQs)

But... who says they have value? The government? The one no one trusts? People trust money more than the government, but the government controls the money.

Makes you think about how blind people are.

Why do the new $100 notes remind me so much of the Woodrow Wilson $100,000 Gold Certificate in the new $100's early printing stages? Well, I guess it has to do with the new $100 bills having a lot of orange on the front, and the $100,000 Gold Sertificate having a full orange back.
