Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...keTrack=true

The seller describes it thus: "A Nice rare Indian Head with some minor damage around edge of coin of about 2". Also, both upper wheat ears are worn with scratches . Front looks pretty nice."

There are no returns or exchanges ...

The seller has another questionable, IMHO, coin up for bids, too:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1881-CC-Sil...em3cd830e8c5

The bidding looks serious ... I asked the seller if the diameter of the 1909-S was two inches, or 2" as he described and am awaiting a reply.

BTW ... I neglected to ask about the wheat ears!

That thing's too badly beaten up to ever have an accurate opinion about authenticity. The Morgan looks very much like a poor cast fake.

The Morgan is definitely a fake but hard to tell about the Indian cent without having it in hand. Just steer clear, like 100 miles clear

The CC is a crude counterfeit; the Indian probably is. I'd steer clear from this seller. Whenever they say "no returns" you better run away as fast as you can.
Rest in Peace

The Indian cent has too small of pics to chance, and the S and 9 doesn't look right to me.

I'd forget it.

I'm still studying Morgans but the IHC doesn't look good to me. If you are in need of one of these the best bet is to just get a certified one from a reputable dealer so you don't have to always wonder. After looking at ebay for months, that's what I ended up doing.

Do yourself a favor and do not look @ anything from this seller any more.........and if you want to do yourself an even bigger favor wait and go to shops/shows and buy your coins after putting your own eyes on them - it will save you a lot of disappointment and you'll enjoy collecting a lot more. this will give you a chance to talk to dealers and other collectors as well, so you'll learn a lot about collecting in the process.

Just my 2 cents.....pun intended

What better way to pass off a fake then add some damage.

Shocking that this seller still has a feedback rating of 98.6%. You would think that he would have gotten more negatives along the way.

The user has sold a number of 1909 S Indian Head cents (plus plenty of others). Here's what they sold for:

$280: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-S-Indi...261310241957

$314: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-S-Indi...261286823162

$320: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-S-1C-I...261288636783

Also sold plenty of 1877, 1868, 1869, etc.
