That $20.00 banknote would classify as a repeater. It's as close as Canadian banknotes can get with 7 digits... . I would consider it a keeper.

That's a perfectly good reason to keep the note.

Collect what you like, and what you find interesting.

We've just put another similar $20 bill on ebay with the serial number 8877655. We thought that was a pretty cool ladder note...if it doesn't sell, we'll keep it in our collection.

I don't you will see much (if any) of a premium.

You may get some bidders, you never know (Doesn't hurt to try).

Yeah the 7's are doing well. We were told the other bill was a ladder but I guess not. What exactly would a ladder be? Would ours be a ladder if it was 8877665? Still trying to learn all of this stuff. Thanks.

now 0s I'm unclear on as well as what about something like 7890123?

That's correct. It can be any numbers in sequence.

Most collectors wouldn't consider that a Ladder. So, I'm not sure what kind of premium it would get.

7890987 Would be a ladder.

I had the solid sevens pegged for around $500...I think with the number of different bidders you may see this getting to around $700 in the last few seconds of the auction.

I don't see it going much past that though. Maybe $550.
