I have been stung on fakes but always got my money back and I am no expert on US coins....as I collect Canadian. However, I saw this about one minute before it sold and no, not on e-bay, and took a chance. So 1894 O, 1895 O, 1901 O and an Indian coin I know nothing about. As usual, the auction scans are poor and will post better ones when coins arrive. I understand that the 1895 0 is a key date, hence the purchase. Edited by marbury518 11/23/2013 10:57 am

For the moment, I'm going to discount the fact that the 1895 looks significantly larger than the other coins, and chalk it up to an odd camera angle. Highly interested in your images once they arrive. The 1894 is no slouch, either, even in lower grade. Less-so than the 1895 but still commands a price which would buy other issues in Mint State.

The date looks ok given the picture quality and I'm not seeing anything obviously wrong in the pictures other than what SD has already mentioned about the size. Hopefully it is the camera angle. I hope it's a score for you.

Either they used a weird angle or that is not good. It doesn't scream fake to me though.

Why is everyone worried about the 1895 dollar? The other two could just be smaller . I think it's just the angle of the camera.

It does look to be a little larger than the other ones. Curious about why this is...

Surely only a complete idiot would fake a 1895 O and then make it bigger than a Morgan dollar......

it's absolutely just the photo angle... The photo is straight down on the '95-O, which would put an angle from the lens to the other morgans making the others appear "shorter"... I don't see anything that looks off to me...

The images each appear to be assembled for four other images. Each coin is at a different angle. Not something you are likely to get with a single picture.

Conder101....so is that a way of explaining the odd size appearance, the disparity?

Yes I think they took four images at different angles and sizes and put them together into one image.
