Can I call it G7 or VG7? Because it looks right in between a G6 and a full VG8!

I am comfortable calling it a VG-8. The weak "T" is compensated by the partial "I" and I think that I can see the left hand vertical stroke in the letter "B."
May I ask how much you paid for it?

VG-8. Barbers are just one of those coins that look good in low grades.

I think it's VG-8 because of seeing some letters in headband, some detail in the nose and mouth of Liberty, and the eagle's eye. I agree with Wheatchaser that Barbers are coins that look nice in lower grades. This one looks to be a nice original with no major hits or scratches.

Ok, right on, thanks much for all the input. Looks like we're basically on the same page for a change! I'm calling her VG08.
Thanks!

Looks right on the vg8 and vg10 line so I'll say VG 9 but seriously too worn to be a 10 so I'll go 8.
Feel free to call me Will.

Members, Night-Hawk has a remarkable eye for naturalness and originality. I totally agree with his methods and his goals. At a mintage of 604,000 the custodianship of a 1913-S is a pleasure.
thedollarman, I am curious: why is a maple leafer as yourself interested in such a maligned US coin design? I am pleased, of course, but very curious. Please check out the BCCS site listed in my signature. Our research resources are open to all.
