Got this in change today:

Low-Serial-Number-Star-Note!

I understand that it's not really considered a "low" serial number unless it is three digits, but it's certainly the lowest number I have ever found! Plus, the fact that it is also a star note makes it a definite keeper in my book.

The note is still quite crisp, but the various folds probably keep it from being worth much over face.

Any thoughts?

Your right that it is not really a "low" SN but a keeper non the less. Nice find.

Nice find.

Can this also be considered a B'Day Note for Jan.3,1973?

Hadn't even considered the birthday note angle, to be honest. I suppose you are right, but I'd like to think it is more valuable as a low(ish) serial number star note.

Perhaps, to the right buyer, it would be the mother of all birthday notes?
