It does have some luster, there is almost a reflection of the camera in the obverse picture. But it looks to me if it might have been dipped or someone put polish or baby oil on it

I was just looking at how much stuff this guy sells and most of them look like that. Disappointing but I wonder how that coin could get to $300 when even my barely trained eye can catch it

I can't tell if they are polished or not but I do find it amazing that everything the guy has is Gem-BU. Is it actually still possible to find ROLLS of 70-90 year old coins in BU?

Precisely what I expect from this seller. That coin must have been white-hot by the time the polishing wheel was done with it.
