Not sure how to grade this one, but looks like it's possibly a keeper or one desired. It's one of those days when I wish I had started collecting 30 years ago. Cheers and thanks for all ideas posted.

Notice the 'fold' marks on the bill.
Giving it a VF grade and it is a 'modified' portrait.

yes lots of folds so catalogue says worth only 14.oo ,but I would say yu could get 16. for it.........Do other people disagree with catalogue evaluations ? or is it like a bible (So to speak) to collectors?

He is some flawed math here for yu all.......If yu got the bill around 1980 (10.) aprox..and saved it til now and its worth 14.oo that is bad because if yu put the Ten in interest bearing bank account of some sort (Flexible here) it would now be worth say 40.oo i'll guess with my flawed math.....So what this tells me beyond the obvious,,is that us paper money collectors can enjoy the hobby, not go broke doing it even if only started collecting resently and not 30 years ago,,,says yu can enjoy a sizeable collection collected -cheaper than one would think...This Post stirs up our brain both good and bad...

The secret here is too collect AU or UNC paper and you will find that in the future they will gain more in value than just Fine or VF stuff.
The better the condition the better you will get in return.

I'm 3 months now collecting, I'm confused with this bill as in Coins and Canada bank notes section it shows prefix B/V and grading and values. VF puts it at 425.00 with the signatures and prefix. lol what am I missing here. Thanks for all the posts and knowledge. Jon
