...probably will have the lowest mintage of any burnished W..sold out individually but still available in the dollar set...maybe

Get 'em before their gone (if it's not already too late since they have been put on the dreaded "backordered" status )

I'd put in an order now, if I were you. The Mint has sold 21,000+ units of the 2013 UNC$ set. This is very close to the 2012 figures.

Good luck.

The dollar set is on back order with the rolling dates again, which means they most likely will run another batch of sets, probably the last of them. The 2012 finished at 28,368, I grabbed one near the end and was impressed by the packaging quality, so got this year's to go with last's. Incidentally, this product type should have greater sales in 2014, it shows up in May instead of November.

Great tip! Mine arived just two weeks ago. Happy I have it but slightly dissapointed in the fields on the reverse. It's not so bad that I return it but definately of inferior quality to my '11 & '12.

Still a striking coin! I love the giant, silver walker.

May The Mint hear my silent prayers for a more "true" unc / proof hybrid this year. Make it a stand alone for 2014 and do something interesting for the Kennedy in silver.

Devil I'm with you, I'd like to see the hybrid actually be an uncir not a proof being called something else. If they had flipped the two so it was mostly uncir with a couple proof stripes I think that would have been a stunner

The individual coin mintage came in at 24,000 less than the 2012-W, so even if the Unc $ set mintage match that of 2012 (28, 368), the 2013-W burnished ASE will definitely be the new low. I am glad I got 3 of the individual coin prior to it sold out.... I didn't order the 2012 Unc $ set but I am ordering the 2013 Unc $ set now, let see how this goes.

Which set contains the burnished W ASE? I see where the UNC dollar set is available with a W ASE, but I didn't think that one was burnished?

The Mint only sells one stand alone MS ASE to collectors...the burnished version with the W mint mark....presently only available in the Annual Dollar Set that includes 5 of its buddies

It's a "rolling" shipping date and advances by a day every day...now 1/13

Usually happens when they are sold out....we will see. I have some of the 1/11's on backorder also. I just got 5 sets from an order last week delivered to me yesterday.

Does anyone have more information on these.

It looks like the UNC dollar set is still on sale.

When I first read this post I ordered the set ... It was on back order ... I have it now.

I also picked up a mint box burnished local.

I am curious if anyone knows what the final mintage will be?

The 2013 W sold out mid December and the Annual Dollar Set went on backorder making some (me) think that it also was close to a sellout.

The Mint obviously had a few W's left over and decided to assemble additional dollar sets which started shipping a couple of weeks ago. The W's final numbers will be dependent on how many of these sets were made. Right now the total is 178,941 W's and 30,147 dollar sets so still under 210k W's out there.

For reference the 2014 proof W sold 307,378 IN THE FIRST WEEK of sales.....

The lowest mintage for W's was 2012 with 230,872 so unless sales of the dollar set goes wild the 2013 W should still have the lowest mintage....

ASEs are hard to find here in eastern Canada, I've been able to acquire a proof 2012 W, and also an BU 2012 from a failed F15 collection.
THe ASE is one of my favorite coins, there is a nobility about it.
