Seller jamichistense (zero feedback, of course) is attempting to sell a damaged parking lot cent as a "1996 penny error" for $395, describing it as "Error no rim. Discolored." 372555157318 She also has a regular circulated Sacagewea Dollar that she's trying to sell as the "Cheerio" variety for the bargain price of $44.

It's only a problem if an inexperienced collector buys the coin - caveat emptor.

Looks like someone was trying to make a home made dough crimper. May have been too small as most are made from large cents:

These newbies genuinely don't know, well at least most of them know, but aren't certain what as to what they have. So they just say its worth X amount not knowing that their item is and will never sell for that, and that it is near garbage (not even junk value). However don't say that to someone else you will get in to a flame war.

Quote: Guess the date.... Per seller "you decide" I would rather have a hole in my album than have that coin. Even if it were certified 1909-S VDB I would still rather have a hole. PS: This thread is full of sellers who just don't know what they're doing and that's fine, but I think this seller is trying to be slick. That's the worst part about this coin.
