My Whitman order arrived today and after checking my email, the new PDF Snow Guides were available for download.
I'm going to be busy reading/studying for a while.

Was fortunate to find and purchase a copy of The Engraver's Line by Hessler last month.
The book is "An Encyclopedia of Paper Money and Postage Stamp Art"
It was priced right and I'm glad to have it in my library.

Wow I was just looking at some prices on Hessler's "The Engraver's Line" cheapest I saw was $350 and most were around $600 and up. What did you drop on your copy?
EDIT-Just saw the guy I sent you to for the Stewart book has one for $75.00! If I didn't just get a BIG speeding ticket I might go for it, but I have a few other books I'd like to get first. His price sure is appealing for a rare book and a signed one at that!

My copy of The Engraver's Line cost $135 it was from a special printing which included some engravings and a sheet of errata. A week ago today the dealer emailed me was a week ago and he had 8 copies left.
I received my copy of Kevin Flynn's newest book on the 1838-O Half Dollar last week.

I decided I'd pre-order the new Deluxe Red Book from Whitman. The last copy of the Red Book I purchased was in 2006 and it'll be nice to have a newer edition on my bookshelf. -MV

I've been really debating getting the Deluxe RedBook as shipping is free and at $50 right now, it may be a good buy, or the price may drop soon after release and there may be a bunch selling for less on the used market or resellers. Since I have so many specialized books I probably have a lot of the info they've added at Whitman publishing. So I may just hold off and spend the $50 on other harder to find books on my list for now. One thing I don't collect is Redbooks surprisingly enough, nor do I keep all my Numismatist ANA magazines (they usually go to work for reading material in the waiting room), though I do keep a few issues which I find particularly interesting, or tear-outs of articles I want to keep. Eventually all the Numismatists should be online at the ANA website (they are working on the scanning as I type).

Me too. Their price even with shipping is way below anywhere else I've looked. I just cancelled with Amazon it was so much lower.

Received my copy of the D. Brent Pogue auction catalog in the mail today.
I'll be looking it over this evening.
