This popped up in the "Things you may be interested in" section of my ebay page. To me it screams solder. I wouldn't think a Cud would affect the face and outside rim of the coin. I wanted to contact the seller to offer my opinion, but what do you think?

I agree. It doesn't look like a Cud to me either, since the edge of the coin has a blob on it too. A Cud should just be on the face. I'm thinking solder too. Love the blurry pictures too!

You say 'questionable' and I say 'junk'. I think you are right that it is solder.

Most ebay sales to me are bad karma, there are always better safe soultions.
I don't or will I ever link a bad ebay sales to a website....why? because if it is linked to a website that has a decent reputation, that hunk of junk listing gets a better pagerank and moves up the list. When people search for a specific word or phrase, that hunk of junk then has a better chance at being seen, rather than dying on the vine.

If it were a Cud the color would be the same as the coin. The coin would be round. The reverse would have been affected. It all screams out FAKE!

I contacted them and explained why if is not a Cud and is most likely solder. They stated they were new to coins and updated the description.
