I've seen many DD's and MD's
at the moment I dont know how to distinguish one or another.
a little help will be appreciated.here are the pics of the coin in question.i read about a 1984 DD and I just found this one,but dont look like the one on the pictures I see.the details are different, the ear doesn't look like and I dont know if its can be ddo-001,i think its not but can be a variety.what you think guys.thank for any help.

Lot of what looks like doubling especially from the nose to the neck tie. I am sure the experts will jump in soon.

Definitely does not look like the one posted on coppercoins, if I remember right I had found similar ones and they were found to be Mechanical Doubling. But maybe one of the experts will jump in.

The coin is suffering from Machine Doubling. On the 001 the ear is completely separate.

Usually when you see doubling on the profile, this is Machine Doubling. On this die you can see under the beard a second beard.

But the marks under the nose to throat is Machine Doubling as well as under the ear. Sorry

I think is may be MD, but if it is a great example. as I said you can see the doubling without a magnifying glass. It is remarkable.

i can see it now coop.thank you for your help guys.I think I should study a little more about this topic.I have seen many pictures and hundreds of pages that attribute errors to coins that do not have, that causes too much confusion.
