She's going in my type set. What would you grade her?

Moved this to the US Commemorative forum.

There is no dedicated grading forum for them, but would like our commemorative experts to weigh in.

The coin does appear to have luster, but I also see what looks like obverse wear/rub on the high points of the horse and Lee's leg. The reverse also appears to show signs of wear (rub, scratches).

I would suggest an attractive AU-55.

IMHO likely a high AU grade ... 55/58 ... difficult to say from the over lit photos but definite rub is visible.

This is not an expensive coin in MS63/64 ... wondering why you chose an AU slider for your type set?

Possibly a very good deal? Would make a nice one for Guess The Price.
