I have a 1993 U.S. one cent that has what appears to be a perfect o instead of a d or p or W anyone ever seen this and is it worth posting a picture?

Thanks

you can take a picture and post it but I am willing to bet is it just a D mm with die wear.

The New Orleans mint closed down in the early 1900's.

Posting a photo is a good idea. It is not an "O" mint mark.

It's a 1993-P (Philadelphia has no mint marks)with a well placed gas bubble that has popped and now is rotting.Nice conversation piece.

Even a pin can split the plating and start the zinc rot process. If it were an "O", it would have been raised and not a hole in the coin.
