Ok. I picked this Roosevelt dime out of circulation a while back. It is really dark toned for some reason, but the toning is worn off of the obverse some. I was looking at it the other day, and realized that when I rotated it, the untoned part looks like Teddy Roosevelt. I know it's only worth ten cents, but I think it's awesome! I superimposed it over a photo of Teddy for comparison.  |

All I see is a disk in various shades of gray.
No way of telling what it is.

I can almost see it. A trick of light and shadows, just like any politician. A crazy thing about the Roosevelt's is they broke the rules on coins. I think the year was 1936 the Philippines had a 50 cent piece or something like that with FDR's face on it... and "United States of America". A coin made by the US for use in a US territory with a Living, Sitting president on it.

And possibly Teddy posed for that coin too. Only so no arguing with relatives, ne told them to put it on the coin upside down.  |

The 'moustache' is below and to the right of the ear, the 'forehead' is formed by the cheek, the 'nose' is formed by a sideburn.
