Ok. I picked this Roosevelt dime out of circulation a while back. It is really dark toned for some reason, but the toning is worn off of the obverse some. I was looking at it the other day, and realized that when I rotated it, the untoned part looks like Teddy Roosevelt. I know it's only worth ten cents, but I think it's awesome! I superimposed it over a photo of Teddy for comparison.

All I see is a disk in various shades of gray.
No way of telling what it is.

I can almost see it. A trick of light and shadows, just like any politician. A crazy thing about the Roosevelt's is they broke the rules on coins. I think the year was 1936 the Philippines had a 50 cent piece or something like that with FDR's face on it... and "United States of America". A coin made by the US for use in a US territory with a Living, Sitting president on it.

And possibly Teddy posed for that coin too. Only so no arguing with relatives, ne told them to put it on the coin upside down.

The 'moustache' is below and to the right of the ear, the 'forehead' is formed by the cheek, the 'nose' is formed by a sideburn.
