That would be a bargain at that price if the coin matched the grade :)

Amazing thing is this seller seems to get a really good price for his sales even though they are self slabs.

Is it really a 65 in anyone else's opinion? I see a few nicks, like the top of the hair and behind the neck.

Just going by the hair, eyebrow, cheekbone, literally dozens of visible marks, and past experience with a slabbed coin from this seller, it wouldn't surprise me if in-hand it's not above EF-40. But somebody is likely to believe they got a $19000 coin for $1500...

This seller carefully dances around ebay's listing rules. Bidders might get clued in if they only read the seller's negs.

Even if I knew this were EF grade I would not want to bid near EF price because I don't want to support the trickery. At some point I want to buy a 1948 dollar that is graded but not NNC.

$2429, 20 bids. Someone paid almost MS63 retail. There are multiple buy it now graded 60-62 by PCGS, NCG and ICCS for less $... can't fathom ebay but clearly this seller is successful at it.

I really don't understand how this seller manages to picture his "graded" holders in his auctions--isn't that against ebay rules? I consider Centsles the "Keyser Soze" of ebay coin sellers--he manages to dodge every bullet and stay alive. Watch out, collectors!
