The jeneral shininess,darkness around the devices,suttle tints of colors that may be present and look compared to a non cleaned example.

Thanks DM, I thought it was clean in those areas due to handling, hmmmm, still learning lol. I may as well let it have a bath in acetone and finish the job lol..........jk

To be 100% honest I can't be 100% sure about the cleaning but search up these coins just for comparison,I my self am not the smartest when it comes to coppers.
You should start a thread called cleaned? Or someting like that, With pics of this coin for more opinions on the matter

VG 10 cleaned
Due to the lower grade and the corrosion, I am unable to positively ascertain the Dr. Courteau variety.

Upon closer inspection, this appears to be Courteau variety 233, having an r factor of 3 on a scale of 1-10.
