Coins and collectibles actually sell quite well on Webstore, and many find it a better alternative to
ebay since there are no fees associated with listings or selling items. Every item on the site has a link to "Report Listing Violation" and it is not required to be a member of Webstore to flag an item for review. Every item posted on Webstore is reviewed, and if we find issues or are made aware of issues such as counterfeit coins we take action immediately. We have removed plenty of listings (of coins) which are simply taken from other sites such as
ebay due to the fact the seller is simply trying to sell a coin he/she doesn't have. We came across this post and wanted to share our thoughts regarding this issue.
If you click on the Report Listing Violation link, the text reads:
Please report any listings which contain material that:
* May violate a copyright or are counterfeit
* May violate Webstore listing policies
* May be harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectional.
Also, be sure to follow up with your report with Webstore support staff using the "Contact Us" link at upper right hand corner of every Webstore page with your reason for reporting so that we may further investigate.
Are you sure you want to report this item?
We really appreciate the feedback we receive from our members and others who are not registered to help keep our site free of fake, counterfeit and/or fraudulent items. This seller in question has taken extra steps to verify the address on the account with Webstore and also accepts PayPal as a form of direct payment to help reduce the risk of fraud. We realize we are not experts in the coin community and respect the information given to use by those who are, so thank you for discussing this and allow us to look into the issue further.
