I had to vibrate in my chair to bring the date into focus.

Strong "WE" which is a plus. Worn horizontal shield lines probably keeps it to XF. I need a REAL closeup of the date to determine the variety. I definitely see repunching at the "1", but can't say more than that.

I think I am seeing some luster, so I will go AU-53

KF RPD-003 It appears, and a nice re-punched date example, with very nice surfaces. Is the reverse D a partial or no serif on United? I'm at a solid EF45 grade with designs on an AU53/55 from a TPG on a really good day. Quote: What do you think of this variety overall? Easy question to answer for me - all Two Cent Piece varieties are interesting, this one is one of the more dramatic RPDs in the series. I picked up one like this also only your's is a lot nicer, mine is maybe a VF30.

Here is a close-up of the date; Quote: Is the reverse D a partial or no serif on United? Yes, the upper serif of the D is missing.

Quote: Yes, the upper serif of the D is missing. Then it can't be the KF RPD-003, so it must be, the KF RPD-002, which is just a bit tougher than the the KF RPD-003 to find! Also cross referenced to KF-F2-TPD and Breen 2382 Quote: Triple punched date? Yep and a pretty nice one at that!

Quote: Also cross referenced to KF-F2-TPD and Breen 2382 I had to cross Breen 2382 to FS-002.5 which is currently FS-1301
