I traded off my 1996-W Dime ( and then some) for this 1982-P Dime and wanted to see what the CCF Memebrs have to say in comparison to PCGS. Thank you for your interest! Edited by oih82w8 01/29/2014 2:21 pm

Hard to see the luster but I'll guess 66.

I really like the "golden" tone this Roosey has.

Now this is just a purdy dime! :) Every issue is on the rim except for the mark on his temple as far as I can tell and I really do like the toning. I'm gonna dive in at MS66. Do they give an FSB or full torch designation on these? If so, add that too. Curious as to what is going on the mushy 'us' in 'Pluribus'?

PCGS does have the FB designation (NGC has Full Torch), but this is not one of them. The varieties that I have seen have the diagnostic die scratches and "mushy" lettering on the reverse (for the most part). I got them in the mail today, and I will post the slab shortly.

I purchased it in an old white ANACS slab around $200.
...it has a trend value in it's current PCGS slab of $400.
Too bad it does not possess FB...then it would have a trend value of $650.

It's a modern dime and yet it carries that kind of value.
I was thinking MS-66 as well. But not FSB.

See,I'm still not good at grading. The strike looks mushy to me on both sides. John1

Generally speaking, Moderns started getting tough above MS65 in the 70's. I'm no Modern fan, but all the same am quite high on Gem-graded recent Business Strikes.
