Poll Question
Well just like my previous poll but for non die related errors. If I missed one just post what it is.

The capped dies are interesting because well I would imagine in theory the one side is struck multiple times giving them a much higher amount of detail.

I can not vote because my favourite kind of error is not on the poll. My favourite type of error is a mule. Although my second would be multiple clips. Really interesting how these are made.

I think brockages are amazing. Haven't got one but would love to have one.

I finally chose multiple clips, only because I have never found one.

I would love to get a coin with two dates or two mint marks.

Quote: Capped dies can pretty cool! Yes they can! While on a special floor tour of the Denver Mint with some ANA members and employees - the current mint manager had one made with probably 20+ Lincoln cents, it looked the size of a pint glass almost! He said it can never leave the mint, so he used it as a paper weight on his desk, it was too cool! Wish we had been allowed to have our cameras inside the tour.

That is definitely a cool story westcoin! Makes me wish I had gotten around to taking a tour of the Mint when I lived closer to it haha.
Looking at the two polls, I guess my favorite errors would fall into this category even though they aren't on the poll: Wrong planchet and/or the double denomination coins. Although, these might be covered under the general category of "planchet" in the poll so that is where I will put my vote.

Here's a pic of my favorite error coin. It's a double-struck, flip-over, double denomination six cent piece ... I've named it the "Flying Lincoln Cent"

I picked the lamination error but my favorite is either rotated dies or off center strikes or both, great poll.

You know with all the talk about these errors I have yet to find one through roll searching or in my pocket change. I really will not pay for one. So I'm left with the idea that they really don't exist until I have one in hand.

None of those are what I'd save or collect. I only like doubled Dies or rotated reverses. I do have 4 boxes of error coins and mostly off centers but only because I find them in change. So many Lincoln Cents in the 80's are all messed up and at one time I had hundreds of those but started giving them away.
