Collar-Error-Half

I have found quite a few partial collar error halves, but this is the first I have seen where the lip goes all the way around such as it does on this half.

Nice partial collar, and a clear demonstration of why they are known as "railroad rims". The coin looks like the wheel of a railroad car.

I have actually found quite a few partial collar halves. They typically get kicked out of the Coin Wrapping Machine. But this is the first I have found where the overlapping lip goes all the way around the coin.

If you diffused the lighting to reduce glare that would really show your coin better. A diffuser is not expensive. Depending on you light source, it can be as simple as a sheet of typing paper, a plastic grocery bag, a single sheet of facial tissue, rice paper, ETC. Something to remove the glare from the lighting, but yet able to let the light through. I've even used two sheets of bond paper.
