I thought you were referring to a Canadian coin.. LOL But they are a clashed die event that happened to Franklin half dollars. I don't refer to them as a variety as they are from an event that happened to the die, not something the die was hubbed with. Report this Post to the Staff

I think they are cool..because when I show the two coins to someone for the first time there is just something about the sentence "see Ben Franklin has Buck Teeth" usually gets a laugh or two..both BB coins I have I picked out of a Franklin BU book at the LCS and they seem to be non rare.. And usually just Grade price.. That being said my LCS doesn't search varieties unless the coin is slabbed. Report this Post to the Staff

I like em and the prices are dropping and most coin shops only sell. Them at there "grade value" I think they are fun accesible and a good conversation piece.
