I got this in with a group of foreign coins

It is about the size of a U.S. small cent

Anyone care to make a guess, as to what it is.

It is a apothecaries weight. They were used to measure out medicine when pharmacists used to hand mix prescriptions.

I posted two a while back, not knowing what they were. Couldn't find them in my archives though.

Correct; "W & T A" is W. & T. Avery Ltd, a British weight and balance-maker.

On the website amida17 linked to, click on "catalogue" and scroll down to number 1220 and you will see the whole set of 19th century W&TA weights.

Very cool find, I found one in a coin lot myself once. The one I found was made in the U.S. though, and from the turn of the century (1900). Yours I believe is a bit more scarce. The cool thing about these is they are not just collected by token enthusiasts but also medical and pharmacutical antiques collectors. Congrats.
