Hello Forum members,

IVe got 4 arabic coins here I can't identify. It looks turkey/ottoman? Small coins and the look all almost te same.

I am wondering if someone can help here

they weight almost 1,75 gram each

1293 is the date in arabic for at least 3 of them. I would say they look pakistani but I am not sure :/

Hard to tell if they are all the same, but top left and bottom right appear to be Turkey 10 Para KM# 744 dated AH1293/AD1899-1900

"1293" is the accession date, the year the Sultan became sultan. The actual year of issue is on the other side, in tiny numerals below the toughra. They're a little hard to read from that pic, but I think three of your coins are dated Year 27, the fourth (bottom right) is Year 28. According to the NGC database page, Yr 27 is slightly scarcer, though in the condition these coins are in I don't think it matters too much.

Year 1293//27 (or in other words, year AH 1319) corresponds roughly to AD 1901.

They were minted in Konstantinye mint (modern day Istanbul). Typical late Ottoman coins, nice to collect but not worth much.
