Identifying A 1901 S Barber Quarter

Ten yrs. ago I found an old silver coin in the dirt under a set of basement stairs in an old house,I never gave it much thought since it was so worn until about six months ago I ran across it and looked it up on the internet the date was clearly 1901 but I could not make a mint mark out because of the wear,this was the only thing I found under those stairs and it just seems strange it was that year of coin,I have visited several sites regarding authentication,both ones are centered over a denticle and the second one is very close to the vest whereas the first is somewhat further away,could I possibally been this lucky and how can I know for sure

Can we see some pictures of the coin?

The pictures you posted are the same. Pictures need to have unique names, otherwise the last one uploaded overwrites the others of the same name. And that looks like 1901

my point exactly,it is too worn,but there are other identifiers,such as di cracks, positioning of various numerals and such,that is what I am looking for
