Need Colonial Reference Recommendation

trdhrdr007 Pillar of the Community United States 2335 Posts	Posted 02/15/2014 3:24 pm I've been considering dipping my toe into the Colonial Waters for a while. I had a chance to pick up a couple locally for a decent price so I took the plunge. Before I get any deeper I'd like to pick up a reference book or two. Any recommendations? David Bowers I'm sure vermontensium will have some good recommendations here soon as well. I do have Crosby's book "Early coins of America", but not the easiest to read, it was the first true book on United States coinage, and it's in my library for that reason alone.
