I've had these for a while. Not the best shape, but I don't see to many. Thanks for your comments and opinions in advance!

Pin scratches which looks to have occurred recently, but were present 15 years ago when I bought it. Wish they would tone a bit, but they sparkle and shine like they happened today. Can't see them well in the pics.

Both are VG to me. They are both pretty nice coins and solid examples of early American coinage.

Not one, but two 1815's!

Both lovely examples of the first year of issue. I would grade these VG10 and F12 respectively. Judging by the photos, both with nice original toning.

I'm at VG-10 and F-12. Nice original look to both of them. I don't see many of these available anymore and I'm sure you know when they are they are pricy. Great coins both.

Yes, the 1815 CBQ has become pricey over the last few years. I wish I had obtained mine many years ago.....I guess there are too many collector wishing to obtain an example of this coin.

In the Capped Bust Dime series, by the way, you see the same thing, specifically with the 1809 and 1811 dates. While the 1822 has always been a priced and rare date, it seems that the 1809 and to a lesser extent the 1811/09 have picked up a lot in recent years.

GERMANICVS, seeing your 1815 made me want to have a look at mine. I've owned them both long enough to know that this is there first appearance on the great World Wide Web. I couldn't own enough of these.

NoD, these used to show up here and there. Would you believe I bought the first one for $150 and the second for $95. I'm kinda making myself sound old. Well, I guess I'm getting old. I'll be 40 in about a month.

Thanks for the comments. Keep em coming!

Very nice!

VG-10 and F-12

I really enjoy the rarity of Capped Bust quarters. If the Quarters ever become popular, prices will go through the roof.
