I was wondering if a 1981-D with what looks like another D on top of one another, is this something that others have seen ?

I have one that looks this way and I am trying to get a better pic of it. If this is not something that has been seen or something I should be looking harder at then I will stop trying so hard and move on to other coins, lol....

Thank You for any thoughts on this...

I can't tell from your photo.

See if yours matches one of the ones on coppercoins.com.

Cobia,
Do you have a digital point and shoot camera? If so set it to macro (the little flower icon). Scaned photos are almost never very good.

That is very true. I have looked at some other forums and they are just flat out mean. I love this forum.
