Too many products coming out and none of it will ever be rare...............but still nice to look at and then pass it on..........for some next generation..of a non-collector..to melt.......... We have all bought some trinket or gift to stick on our or someone else's fireplace for 50 bucks at some point only for it to wind up at a garage sale a few years down the road for a buck. At least with a coin you have some value going forward. Not to say that some modern coins don't turn a profit, they do, but if you want investment, especially now, buy Maple Leafs or numismatically significant coinage. And the first GITD dino will almost certainly always trade well above its initial list price. But it has dropped a fair bit from its height of a year or so ago. And the 2nd and 3rd dinos in the set can easily be found at list price--for example J and M Coins is selling both right now--and probably lower if you're patient on ebay auctions.
