I need help identifying a counter stamp on a Lincoln Cent I just pulled from a roll. It seems to be weekly stamped on the right side of the design making it a little difficult. I have a guess but as one forum member posted in the past that thread titles and text "lead" the reader into a certain direction into agreeing with the poster so I won't mention that it looks like John Kerry   |

If it is Jimmy Carter it is a BAD depiction.
The eyes are off. But that IS his smile.

My first thought was RFK.
Bust Jimmy makes more sense.

Looks to me more like Robert Kennedy than Carter, but given the date of the coin I guess it is more likely Carter.
I remember in the 1960s you could send away for a "Kennedy looks at Lincoln" cent. It just had a stamp of JFK in profile looking left.
