I bought 13 5-cent coins from Newfoundland for $10 at the recent Edmonton show. Four were fairly worn Edward VII and George V coins, the rest were shiny George VIs in at least XF-40! I think this was a good deal. Here is the nicest of the lot. Your opinion on grade? I am not great at photography but I think it's good enough for at least an estimate.

Typical Au 55 slider. These have to be really pleasing to get ICCS MS63. Still a very nice pickup for the money!

What on this coin do you see that brings it down to AU? Just want to see what you're seeing ... b/c I couldn't find any flaws

Light scuffs across the face and way too many hairlines. Submit it to ICCS and let us know. I will bet you the grading fee it is an AU coin ! IMHO. Good luck !!

Surely it's not worth certifying... in hand, I would say it's something like AU-58+, there is just barely an amount of wear - so little I don't feel qualified enough to judge it. But it was not a bad purchase for 77 cents
