WideWings.......... To name a few... CudsPartial Collars Clips Lamination issues Broad Strikes RIM REED ISSUES RAILROAD Annealing Errors Strike Through. The oh so nice thing about ERROR coins is this ... It is not ALL about the pristine MS rating. A nice circulated coin maybe worth considerable more than a well graded coin ... of that series. Errors are truly UNIQUE. And there is no ridged price rules. It is all about supply and demand. I am going to try to load a couple of my coins ... in next post Hope this helps. BTW as you can see ... I really like Error Ikes.

WildWings......... Sorry about my fingers on some coins. The Mods have been lurking on at least one of these coins, as to what it is, or is not. PMD yes? PMD no? So here we go. Again ... I am so sorry to burden the CCF with my greasy thumbs. My wife now buys gloves by the pound! Think I may have one more error Ike somewhere.

Hi WildWings-
I have some info for you on some of your coins as well as a couple of ideas of what you could do with them. I tried to send you an email, but your account isn't set up to receive them. Would you shoot me an email? My wife and I are full-time dealers specializing in errors and die varieties.
Interesting post, you've got a mix of miscellaneous along with some good coins!

I just tried to send you a message however since I am a newbie here they won't let me. Is it ok on the forums to post email address or is it frowned upon ? I also kind got a chuckle you guys haven't even seen the collection yet. I just am starting with quarters because its the lease amount of coins I had. Most of the coins are cents and nickels and some of the error I can see and some I am trying to learn to see :) Let me know if I can post my email thanks.

Best not to. You'd be hit with all kinds of stuff. Best to post a coin then wait for a response until you get the needed number of posts to contact other members through emails.

We love pics --- so post away.
But I would suggest that you start a new thread for each coin in the appropriate section and that way it will get the most views.

Wildwings............. Adding to possible error coins.... One sided, and two sided, Full and partial missing clad layer coins. More or less easy to spot the full one sided missing clad layer coin. Crystal bright on one side ... no (nickel) clad on the other. The color can range from orange-ish, to red-ish to brown-ish to darker brown to black. Seem that the orange-ish and red-ish carry the most value. Copper -- The life cycle you're most typical to see is orange to reddish-brown to full brown to nearly black. Hope this helps

I think I posted not too long ago about cotton inspection gloves. These can be bought off of ULINE, and they come in 12 dozen. The gloves are interchangable, so you can wear either glove on either hand. I use only one glove to handle a coin, so the packs I bought will last quite some time. here is a link to the ULINE gloves I am talking about. ULINE ships fast = ) http://www.uline.com/BL_968/Cotton-...words=cotton gloves The 1974-S cent can be looked up here. It is the only known variety for that year. Its not to say that others don't exist - that site simply hasn't been exposed to more errors for that year. Its really tough to tell from the picture if the 1974-S is what the holder describes. That one may have to be put under a microscope by a trained eye to tell. http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mdsAgain, if your camera has a MACRO or close up feature, try turning that on. If the flash is too bright for the coin, try taking the coin outside, in Non-direct sunlight and snapping a picture that way. The camera may auto adjust the lighting for you.
