The second time I've done this. I get nice quality Bausch & Lombe loupes, then I accidentally send them through the dryer! Is destroys a rubber gasket that holds the lens in place. Now that I've done it twice, I need to figure out some repair method.

If the remaining pieces are not too difficult, Super Glue fast or Araldite would be OK. Just make SURE that you don't get any glue on the lens.

My style of using a loupe never involves me putting it in my pocket, when not in use.
I use a 10x loupe (the standard for TPG's) for coin examination and gem cutting, and 20x with narrow depth field for examining the internal flaws in gemstones.

Or, simply get rid of the Loupe, and get a 3.5x - 30x stereo microscope. Less eye strain, and lets see you stick that in your pocket or dryer without noticing !?!

Option #1---Duct tape the dryer door shut before you start playing with your coins and don't remove the tape until after you've put all your coin stuff away.
Option #2---Get a dirt cheap loupe. They may not be as good as the fancy designer ones but they never get damaged or lost.

Yeah a stereoscope would make a bit of a racket in the dryer. I think someone would notice.

That is what I do to.
OR
1.You could hire someone to carry yours around for you.
2.Find a place that makes reading glasses of about 10X.
3.Buy only large coins so enlarging is not necessary.
4.Stop collecting coins.
5.Send all coins to me for a closer look.

Glad I am not the only one. I started accumulating them at coin shows, when I would accidentally leave mine at home. Over the years I must have bought several from the same vendor. I am sure he thinks I am nuts.
