Just need some opinions on this. On the reverse of this penny, it looks like there is a very faint face next to the original. Is this just some sort of PMD? Thanks for your time.

The button hole on the lapel is very close to that lower yellow arrow.

It could also die polishing in that area, a gas bubble or our imagination?

I have never seen that but I would not say it is a double die, does look good.

as for the coin is question way above, If there isn't any trace of indention or the area being raised, I wonder if the transfer of say some oil from the finger/thumb or other material left a semi caustic impression of Lincoln on the field?

Snooderpuff...Am I correct in saying that where my arrows are pointing are high spots or extra metal on your coin..Sorry about the weird colours..This way I can isolate high spots..

Yes, they are high spots except for the one on the forehead.
