This one is a true shame that it has scratches across the obverse. Regardless, what do you think it grades?

A pretty little half sister! nice surfaces.
I would estimate the grade at EF45 - net VF 30 deducting for the scratches.
I have a few cents with some degree of damage, and I enjoy them very much nevertheless.

The scratches hurt but still a nice not cleaned coin so far. Still trying to learn. Need these 1/2 cents for the 7070.

EF45 details. AU50 wouldnt surprise me. Slightly weak strike particularly the reverse. Need to just look at the highest points which should show the most wear and I see very little wear on those areas. Look at the drape the curls the date and cheek. On the reverse the upper leaves. The reverse lower section appears that the coin was not seated properly when it was struck resulting in the weakness seen. Very nice early bust

AU50 Details/scratched.

I never liked net grading but yeah, I'd buy one like it for VF+ money.

I said EF-40 Details but looking at it again, I think EF-45/AU-50 Details would be a better estimate.

I don't see any circulation wear at all, and I agree with AU details, scratched. I believe it may also have had an old cleaning. But it is a great looking coin, and a harder date.
