Am trying this again. Any idea as to value. Have not seen anything for 1955.

Looks odd... Nothing over $50, I think. Hard to put values on things like this.

I suppose you could put it on ebay with a big reserve and see if someone hits your number.

Looks like a coin listed at Coopercoins.com as a 1955D 1mm-002

Pictures of the whole coin would be needed to be sure.

Check out the link. Great tool to see if you have any thing listed. There are other sites BUT I like this one the best.

Check it out there and post some more pictures of the entire coin and don't forget to check out the 'markers' on the coin to be sure.

I'm also sure there will be better qualified people to look at it then me around soon as well.

Good luck.

RPM's are not as expensive as many think. Of course there are those error collectors that might go for about $20 or more. As already said though if you want to make money on that one, best put on ebay.

True but for prices, Chuck's site is always a bit under the selling prices. However, those prices are correct for what you'ld get, not what a dealer would sell for.

I paid $1.75 for a similar 1955-D Lincoln Cent RPM#7

but I seen them for for $1 up to $40

depends on if there a bidding war and how pronounced the D over D

Looks like a $2.00 range coin. More desirable in BU.
