The Mercury dime is one of my favorites. I love the design and the overall look of the coin. This 1920 is quite pleasing to look at. It has full bands on the fasces and great details on both the obverse and reverse. The motto is weakly struck on this piece. Thoughts on what it may grade?

I'm with chasingtaller, the coin seems to have field issues.

Sorry about the yellowish tinge on the above photo by the way. It was due to improperly setting the white balance while taking the photo. Here is another photo while held in the Dansco album.

It's been dipped by the looks and the dark spotting takes away from the reverse appeal. It's not problem free, agreed. MS details.

Not dipped. It is a metal detecting find. The spotting is due to tarnish starting to build up while buried. No cleaning other than holding it under running water to remove the bit of loosened surface soil it had on it.

I agree too that it's not problem free. It sure look good in my album though.

Regardless of grade, a very nice metal detecting find.
