This coin is listed as EF... your opinions I would value... I thought perhaps VF -30 but I think EF is pushing it a bit... If someone could let me know if my assessment is correct.... and if it's NOT could you tell me why I would appreciate it.. thank you!   |

Ag, this coin is no better than a VF 30..But with the amount of wear I would call it a nice VF 20 with no worries..I love Newf coins...

I do too... The problem is with these ones there is such a jump from VF to EF in the price I really wanted to make sure... The starting price is right in the middle of the VF to EF price... So I think this is on I will pass on... Hard to find good maritime coins out here in the prairies

EF is definitely too much but VF-30 is about right. I don't know AgCoin, I live in Alberta and my local LCS has plenty of good newfoundland coins.

Mine not so much... And when he does get stuff in it is like this piece... A bit over graded and a bit over priced in my opinion... Yet the stuff will STILL sell...
Btw... What price would you put on this coin

I agree with artdio, a nice VF20.
Wide 9's, $75
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Thanks everyone... I am personally a buyer at $55 -65 range... But the start price was around $160 listed as EF and this IS from a dealer.. Already 1 bid on it too.. #sigh# so hard to get good maritime coins for a good price here in the flatlands
