Are these worth keeping around? I hit up a bank for coins today and the teller had one of their 12-coin tubes her her hand, trying to pry it open. Turns out, she had a lot more that she had already managed to crack, I bought the coins and asked for the tubes (which she must have lost some, as after sorting the rolled coins into them, I was 4 tubes short.)

So now I have 13 opened tubes and a still-sealed one, worth keeping at all, or should I just spend them and keep the tubes for more worthy coins since most were already cracked open?

The casing will not increase a cent of their value. It is not a US Mint product, it's one of the things that the so-called "Mints" put together in a fancy case and packaging, and sell them for $$ saying that their "sealed genuine US Mint dollar coins" will be worth a fortune in the future, especially with the casing they put them in. And added, the dollars are not worth much over their face value. It seems like the face value there is quite a lot. Unless you want to hoard these, I recommend keeping a few that are in best condition, and spend the rest. Spending dollar coins are quite fun :)
Anyways, they are yours to keep or spend. Just my $0.02 :)

Can you re-use the tubing for dollar coins you want to keep? If it's re-usable, I'd say cherrypick out the ones you want for your collection, and spend the rest. The tubes might come in handy for storing a collection later--most places charge 25-50 cents for similar coin tubes.

Count your blessings. You got them for face value, the poor soul that bought them from the Danbury Mint probably paid around $29 per roll of 12 coins.

My mother in law bought a set of State Quarters that were in an album with state relevant stamps. It was a nice presentation, but over a grand for all. She still thinks it was a good deal and says they'll be worth a lot some day.

The fact that you can buy almost twice as many for a lower price at the US Mint...

As has been pointed out, money-wise, no, it's not worth it. If they ever end up having a premium or numismatic value, it'll almost certainly be long after we're gone. However, if you like the presentation and don't need the money, then keep 'em. The tubes look pretty nice with that seal on them.
