1982 small date zinc, does this match up with anything on coppercoins.

i couldnt get copper coins error page to work. ironically it gave me and error message.. lol

what makes me feel that is not accurate is the distance from the northwest point of the d's as close as I can measure with my computer is the exact same to the bottom of the point of the corresponding D

Looks like a bubble under the copper plating.

a bubble in the shape of a D? and within about one thousandths of and inch tip to tip in comparison of the two D's. thats its to close for me to say a bubble or zinc rot I guess

also the tip of the other d on the northwest side is exposed in almost the perfect proportion as it should be that I can graph..

It is split plating with zinc rot. Happens.

If you search enough boxes you'll see more than your fair share of these. Zincolns are horrible for rot.

i imagine.. I cant get my scope close enough right now to get the high power to focus so its hurting me being able to really see whats going on
