Poll Question
I got a lot of responses to my earlier design polls, so I thought I would try another: what is your favorite U.S. Dime design?

Mercurys for me. (Even the set is proving harder to complete than I first thought)

I'm going to have to go with seated because I have so many of them and I love them. I might be inclined to say draped bust if I had enough money to afford a decent grade example :)

Seated for me. I'm just delving into the world of varieties on them and it's fun.

I'm surprised that so many people said mercury. I would have thought seated or Capped would be the most popular.

It's hard to improve on the Mercury design--it even looks good in lower grades.

Sorry, but for dimes, none of the more modern designs really work well for me. I therefore switch to Capped by default.

Mercury dime, but that is only because it has 'grown' on me.

It is relatively easy to obtain Mercury dimes in AU or better, with good mint lustre for (mostly) reasonable cost. That makes them easy to collect as a series in attractive condition. If you study them closely enough and for long enough, you are inexorably attracted to them. I suspect my experience may be very similar to other Mercury fans.

Mercury dimes are my favorite dime. I think they have a great design. I need to add more to my collection because right now I only have 1.

I am not surprised that Mercury is running away with this poll.

Just can't understand why Roosevelt dimes isn't winning. Why I thought everyone wanted coinage with Dead Presidents on them. If it was up to me, I'd put Roosevelt on the head and another President on the reverse. Even another Old Dead President on the edge.
Never knew people collected those Mercury dimes.
