This is one of my favorite gem wheat pennies; the eye-appeal is outstanding!

I personally wouldn't grade this this any lower than MS-64; I think it is probably slightly higher than that.

How would you grade this coin?

I don't see anything that would keep it from going -66.
Not so sure about Red though; might come back RB.

For sure 66, shot at 67...it'd be a gamble at PCGS 66 $35 67 $800.

MS66RD. a couple little marks on the obverse and little surface issues could keep it off the 67. Just a beauty

Woa, what an awesome coin! 66RD at least with a decent shot at 67. That's a beaut for sure.

If a 66 or 66+ are first try, I would spend the money and send in twice more on this one. Again....NICE 47 D. Very good strike as well.

Just for comparison, I found an Ms-67 RD Lincoln Cent, certified by PCGS. I think if this coin made -67, my coin could as well. By the way, this coin is on for $756, so I think its worth a shot sending mine off to be graded.

Edit: I circled the areas that I found particularly distracting on the PSGS coin.

It appears to me the marks on the back are on the holder and not on the coin. That's why you always buy the coin and not the holder though.

Keep in mind, the primary factor between 66 and 67 is eye appeal and luster. Two things that are very difficult to gauge from pictures. Minor ticks and distractions are forgiven for luster.
