I'd agree with VF for detail, but it looks to me like the coin had a significant cleaning at some point which left it unnaturally bright. It has since retoned at the edges, but the centers still have that washed-out, overdipped look. It's still a decent-looking coin, but IMO the price should be discounted, perhaps to the F12 level.

I agree with jaobler - it looks like it was cleaned at some point but has since gained some natural luster around the edges.....vry great quality photo though- what type of camera is that? I know thats the wrong section but curious :-)

is that the name of the camera? I couldnt find it on ebay - did you use a special macro lens though? Thanks....

If I'm not mistaken, HP photosmart's are scanners, not cameras.

HP also does Photosmart cameras, I use an R707 but can't seem to pull a decent coin shot for the life of me.

It says HP Photosmart M627 right on the camera. 7.0 Megapixel Just using the macro feature built in and two lights.
